Marie Wood is a Chicago-based Certified Makeup Artist who specializes in bridal and glam makeup. Her versatility has allowed her to successfully accommodate her clients. She is known for her precision, being able to produce timeless, elegant bridal and glam makeup looks, and her attention to detail. Marie has utilized these qualities with a variety of brides to provide everlasting memories that, to this day, her brides will reach out and thank her for. However, it isn't just the picture-perfect makeup looks that endear Marie to her clientele.  Marie's bright, personable demeanor and her willingness to learn about her clients' likes, dislikes, and visions for their special days make for a fully engaging experience, where everyone who requests her services walks in as a client and walks out feeling as if they have just had a good time with an old friend!

Marie Wood has over 17 years of experience as a self-taught makeup artist before becoming certified in May of 2010. Marie obtained several certifications in makeup artistry, and has been trained in bridal makeup, glam makeup, airbrushed makeup, paramedical camouflage makeup for skin discolorations and tattoos, and media/editorial/print makeup. She has travelled from coast to coast as a freelance makeup artist and has worked with several names in the beauty industry.  She has graced several celebrities, athletes, recording artists and politicians with her flawless makeup skills.  Her work has been featured in international magazines, advertisements, TV commercials, TV shows, music videos, concerts, fashion shows and stage plays. Marie has also created looks for several events for up-and-coming and established businesses, celebrations, and events.  Marie’s passion for makeup artistry can be summed up in five words: “I love what I do!”
